What to expect

Join our Summer workshops in the forest: Learn to create a Bowl through Fire-craft and Explore the forest on HErbal Foraging Walks

This is a 2 day workshop of seasonal woodland based creative sessions. Over the course of the two days you will take part in a foraging and identification walk with Sarah Frances and be guided through the process of making seasonal herb preparations. You will also be guided through the fire-craft of creating a wooden bowl to take away. We will gather round the campfire on both days to share a warming homemade soup and bread.

With a focus on habitat awareness, these small groups are carefully curated. You’ll be immersed within this pristine area of natural beauty with lofty Douglas firs, a spiritual Yew grove, elderly Larch trees, established Elms, ancient coppices of Sweet Chestnut and Hazel, characterful Oaks, fungi & lichen, tranquil birdlife, and the beloved homes of many woodland creatures.
