Spring Botanicals

  • The Herbernaculum, White House Farm Great Glemham, IP17 1LS Suffolk (map)

What to expect

Create from nature to make herbal recipes for our minds, bodies and souls.

In this practical workshop you will be able to specifically select the therapeutics you wish to use, and learn to incorporate them into recipes. In the morning we’ll use spring forage to make a floral water by distillation. In the afternoon we’ll create from a selection of herbal massage oils and aromatic atomisers and you’ll take home at least 3 green pharmacy preparations.

Need to know

This is a small, relaxed, practical workshop that focuses on experimentation with natural ingredients and recipe making. We will be using The Herbernaculum workshop at White House Farm, with the added open-spaces of the covered teaching area adjacent. We have set up these workshops with smaller group sizes, in a friendly and relaxed open-air environment. All materials will be provided and you will be able to take away a set of your finished botanical remedies. Lunch will be around the fire sharing a herbal tea. Please bring your own packed lunch. The fire is within the open barn and you’ll have the opportunity to visit the surrounding galleries and the on site artists and makers gallery shop during lunch time.

For more information please email or call Sarah - info through our contact page.
